FILLED WITH LIVING WATER

FILLED WITH HIS LIVING WATER

John 4:10 “Jesus answered her, ‘If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.’ “

The Scene: Different shaped bottles, colors, sizes symbolic of God’s people being filled with the Lord Jesus’ living water pouring from His hand.

The Holy Spirit said, “Because He chose us, and we accept Him, each one of His people has been filled by His Spirit with the Lord’s living water. The world will recognize you as being different because you belong to me.”

John 3:18 “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”

Revelation 7:17 “For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Revelation 22:17 “The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ Whoever is thirsty, let him come, and whoever wishes let him take the free gift of the water of life.”

TRUST IN THE LORD II

TRUST IN THE LORD II

Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

The Scene: The pilot of the biplane was flying along, straight and level…..upside down!

The Holy Spirit quickened, “See how that pilot trusted in the seat and shoulder straps to hold him in the cockpit. That is how God’s people can be fearless in troublesome situations.

Trust Him, that he has His arms around you, just like those straps that hold the pilot in his seat. The pilot was not gripped by fear–he went about his business, even though everything was upside down (a representation of chaos and confusion).

Psalm 25:1-2 “To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul; in you I trust, O my God. Do not let me be put shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me.”

Proverbs 29:25 “Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.”

LIGHT OF THE SON

Matthew 4:16 “The people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death light has dawned.”

The Scene: On the left of this picture are closed tulips in the dark shadows. On the right are tulips in full bloom facing the brightness of the day.

Psalm 18:28 “You, O Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.”

We, as God’s people, filled with His Spirit, respond to the light of the Lord. Notice when we have the light of the Son on us we can respond in the Spirit of God–raise our hands in praise; our faces may light up and the radiance of God is upon us. We can witness to people who are living in a dark world–we may be able to share God’s love with them.

John 8:12. “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’ “

A NAIL IN A SURE PLACE

A NAIL IN A SURE PLACE

Isaiah 22:23 “I will drive him like a peg into a firm place; he will be a seat of honor for the house of his father.”

The Scene: Representation of Jesus’ hand, nailed to the cross at His crucifixion.

Jesus gave His life for everyone who wills to believe–in His atoning sacrifice and resurrection from the dead on the third day–to set mankind free from the devastating effects of sin.

Acts 2:23-24 “This man was handed over to you by God’s set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.”

And now Jesus Christ our Lord sits on His throne next to our Heavenly Father God retaining His nail scared hands, feet and pierced side. To God be the glory. Amen!

Hebrews 1:13 “To which of the angels did God ever say, ‘Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet?’ “

IN SEASON AND OUT OF SEASON

IN SEASON AND OUT OF SEASON

2 Timothy 4:2 “Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage–with great patience and careful instruction.”

The Scene: A large fruit tree in late summer, bearing good fruit ready for harvest. In the other picture the tree has shed its leaves; snow has fallen on the ground–a winter scene.

The story of the apostle Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch (Read Acts 8:26-40 for details) relates how Philip was sent by God to intercept the eunuch on the road to bring him to salvation followed by baptism in water (representing newness of life). Philip did as he was commanded.

Matthew 28:18-20 “Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’ “

Father God will provide help from His Holy Spirit to those who are ready and able to help lost souls, bringing to salvation those who are seeking Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.

Romans 10:13 “For, Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Read Joel 2:32.

Christians are give opportunity prepare themselves for God-given appointments to help people come to Christ. We must read the Word daily, listen to God, pray in the Spirit, give God our praise.

FIRST AND LAST

FIRST AND LAST

Ephesians 5:8-10 “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth). And find out what pleases the Lord.”

The Scene: The sun is rising from behind the mountain top or could be setting behind the mountain top–either way the sun is shining on its crest.

The Holy Spirit gave revelation that Christians are to be like that mountain top in our spiritual walk with the Lord–when we walk with the Lord, we receive the first and last light of the day. We are to be illuminated by Father God for others to see, and by what we have (the light of Jesus Christ our Lord).

John 8:12 “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’ “

We are to daily seek Him, repent, desire Jesus’ Spirit in our hearts, changed every day, so that day by day we go higher and higher in the Holy Spirit and go higher on the mountain top (drawing closer to God).

1 Thessalonians 5:5 “You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.”

HE GAVE HIS HEART, HIS ALL

HE GAVE HIS HEART, HIS ALL

Jeremiah 24:7 “I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.”

The Scene: Representation of the hand of Jesus Christ holding a woven basket full of hearts, representing His heart–He wants to give His heart to anyone who will receive Him as Lord and Savior.

Jesus is looking for Christians who are asking for the heart of Jesus, people who want, “Less of me and more of Jesus’ heart,” in our souls and spirits–people who will truly follow His commands and those of Father God.

Ezekiel 11:19-20 “I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God.”

Jesus wants to give His heart, His all.

UNDER THE ROCK

UNDER THE ROCK

2 Samuel 22:1-4 “David sang to the Lord the words of this song when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: ‘The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior–from violent men you save me. I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies. ‘ “

The Scene: (Upper Left) Represents a Christian who is running away from satan. (The boulder rolling down the hill.) The enemy has disguised himself as the Rock, Jesus.(Middle) The trench provided by the Lord, for the runner to leap into for safety. (Lower Right) Satan’s boulder has hit the larger boulder; Jesus, the Rock, immovable, has stopped satan in his tracks. The Christian has then jumped up from the trench and given the Rock (the Lord Jesus Christ) praise for his deliverance.

Psalm 94:22 “But the Lord has become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take refuge.”

Psalm 71:2-4 “Rescue me and deliver me in your righteousness; turn your ear to me and save me. Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. Deliver me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of evil and cruel men.”

SATAN’S DELUSIONS (LIES)

SATAN’S DELUSIONS (LIES)

Jeremiah 9:4,6 ” ‘Beware of your friends; do not trust your brothers. For every brother is a deceiver, and every friend a slanderer. You live in the midst of deception; in their deceit they refuse to acknowledge me,’ declares the Lord.”

The Scene: Splattering paint balls hitting against a glass pane, going splat, splat, splat.

The paint ball splats represent insults thrown our way. The Holy Spirit points out to us that the splats did not come through the glass, though at first it seemed as though they were coming through the glass. This is how Satan works too– through deceptions and delusions; smoke and mirrors.

When we have the sweet Spirit of Jesus Christ in us, we are not hurt nor fooled or upset by those who are used by Satan to obscure our outlook on life. We have the ability to wipe off the glass and see things clearly again–the blind shall see.

2 John 7-8 “Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.”

2 Timothy 3:12-13 “In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil men and imposters will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.”

REWARDS AND CONSEQUENCES

REWARDS AND CONSEQUENCES

Judges 6:39-41 “Then Gideon said to God, ‘Do not be angry with me. Let me make just one more request. Allow me one more test with the fleece. This time make the fleece dry and the ground covered with dew.’ That night God did so. Only the fleece was dry; all the ground was covered with dew.” Gideon was testing to be sure he had heard from God regarding being chosen to lead Israel.

The Scene: Two direction signs–two choices connected in the middle with a stand.

God has given all mankind free will, with which we make decisions and choices. God’s people are free to test His Word anytime, wanting to verify that we have heard a true word* from the Holy Spirit, which is good and not the voice of the evil one, the enemy; God will never punish His children for asking reassurance of His word.

Luke 5:4-6 “When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, ‘Put out into the deep water and let down the nets for a catch.’ Simon answered, ‘Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets for a catch.’ When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break.”

John 14:21 “Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.”

God gives His Word as a loving Father. Either we listen to Him or we suffer consequences. Godly obedience leads to Godly rewards; disobedience to God leads to Godly punishment or loss of rewards from Him.

*We know God’s word is true when it lines up with the Holy Scripture.
