THE MISSING PIECE

THE MISSING PIECE

THE MISSING PIECE

Colossians 1:27 “To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

The Scene: A puzzle piece representing Jesus Christ, the missing piece in many peoples’ lives.

Our lives are like a puzzle. Events during our lives help form the pieces that make up the way we are; the way we think and act are all affected by events in our lives, besides our God-given temperaments.

Pieces of our life puzzle are added daily– some people (most) live their lives missing the greatest piece of all, Jesus, as Lord and Savior of their lives; but, with Jesus in their lives, their puzzle is complete. Without the Jesus piece  our lives are incomplete and completely flawed.

Christians who believe in Jesus, the Son of God, are the temple of the Holy Spirit who lives inside of them.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?  If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is sacred, and you are that temple.”
